Nokia N95

Presenting Nokia’s five-megapixel beast with a lens created by none-other than Carl Zeiss (the Alfred Hitchcock of camera lenses).
Naturally you’d expect this phone to take breathtaking shots, and with outstanding daylight photos, auto focus, a selection of scene modes, it doesn’t disappoint – especially when you consider the options to adjust white balance and metering. It also takes great videos, with the Video Director film editing program allowing you to edit your films without having to send it to your laptop. Plus as an added bonus, it has TV out support.
However, taking great shots isn’t all this baby can do – it can even direct you to the perfect location with its inbuilt GPS. It’s also got HSDPA, 3G and Wi-Fi to boot!
The generous (not to mention sharp and colourful) 2.6 inch screen lets you view your photos, maps or emails while browsing through the user-friendly interface. The N95 includes 160MB internal memory, a micro SD slot, stereo radio, dedicated media keys and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Not everyone will be won over by its chunky shell, and battery life is disappointing, although understandable given the number of features on offer. But with everything else it has going for it, including a reasonable music player, a great video player and a full-blown satnav, it’s easily forgivable.

This phone is really awesome. The Battery life is good so long as your not watching Videos. The 5 mega pixel camera though.. doesnt seem to 5 mega pixelish but still gives tonnes good quality :D

Hey Guys, Wsup? DON'T upgrade ur fones software 2 the newer 20.0.015 as I've nothing but probs with it! Firstly, the fones doesn't stop charging! No matter how long it's on the charger, it's constantly charging and I NEVER get "Battery Full" anymore! Also, it now doesn't recognise the vids in the My Vids folder of my mem card! I've tried converting them with PC suite and uploading them to the fone, but that's no go either! The trouble is that Nokia should have a roll back system on it's Software Updater progame so that it u've updated the fones software & it's screwed up the fone (like mine has) u should b able to go bak to an earlier version!

Everyone is saying don't buy wait for the 8 Gig version.... But is there a NEXT G Version on the way?

The 8GB version is a cosmetic improvement with, granted, 8GB of inbuilt memory. However it sacrifices the expansion card slot for it. So ask yourself, if you'd be better of buying an original N95 and putting your own MicroSD card in it, which you can upgrade not to mention remove and insert whenever you feel like it. I've had an N95 since the first week they launched and it's great. It also has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack so you can use any headphones you like - don't need to have an iPod as well.
