iPhone watch: 3G pics released

Pictures of Apple’s new 3G iPhone have begun to surface on the net. Although some look like they could be the real deal, we’re not completely convinced.
It’s happened before and no doubt it will happen again. Apparent pictures of Apple’s 3G iPhone have been leaked on the Internet. Chinese website
Weiphone
has released a number of pictures and diagrams while
Apple Insider
has also published a picture of it’s own.
gadget zone isn’t completely convinced though. While early pictures of Apple products have occasionally turned out to be the actual product, Apple Insider’s picture seems rather unstylish by comparison to the current iPhone. Weiphone’s pics on the other hand, although sexy, have the phone going back to Apple’s white colour. Not that gadget zone has any inside information on Apple design, but it seems funny Apple would turn back the clock and produce a predominantly white iPhone after it’s almost completely refreshed the entire product line using an industrial aluminium and black look.
In other iPhone news, the
Vodafone announcement
that rocked the world (OK, ten countries) has been met by a
cold reception
from Apple. No official word has been released by the Cupertino company. Vodafone wasn’t the only one to release a brief press release announcing they would be selling the iPhone either. Rogers in Canada did the same thing, leaving out price and availability dates as well.
