GTA IV virus spreading

It will be one of the biggest game releases of the year, without a doubt. People on the streets who have never heard of a PS3 or Xbox 360 are even talking about it. It’s hard not to when, no matter where you go, GTA IV is in your face.
Fanboys or a sneaky marketing campaign? Whatever the case, it’s worked. GTA IV is on the lips of everyone this writer passed on his morning walk to get a coffee and the newspaper. The word is spreading like a virus. On the day of its release, every phone booth, letter box and bus shelter had GTA IV or Rockstar (the game’s publisher) stickers pasted all over them.
The possibility of a sneaky marketing campaign like this is commonplace. Drive past any lamppost in your CBD and you’ll see stickers and posters all over them. But to have stretched to the outer suburbs is something not often seen.
It could quite possibly be the work of overzealous fanboys though. GTA is one of those game series big enough to claim a crowd this dedicated to the games. Running around your local streets at midnight posting up large stickers isn’t much different to lining up at your local games store at midnight to get one of the first copies of the game.
Either way, the word is out and GTA IV is set to make a massive impact. gadget zone and our sister website are all over it. Read a full review of the game

. Have you seen GTA IV or Rockstar stickers posted all over your suburb? Do you have a theory about what went on? Did you possibly post one of those stickers? Let us know in the
