The D700 will be available in the States in July for $3,000.

More Sony PSP Phone news
Sony’s patent for a touch-screen hand held has been intercepted. Electric Pig got hold of the patent which lists Sony Computer Entertainment’s ex-president Phil Harrison as the inventor of the unnamed device. The patent describes what is known as “digital tactile pixels”, something that suggest a touch-screen device like the iPhone. The device will be able to vibrate and respond accordingly to touches.

In the patent Sony also describes other uses for the device which includes phone, e-mail device, web browser device, portable media player, and navigation system. No other details were released in the patent.

Gadget zone reported on the possibility of the Sony PSP phone just last week. Click here to find out more.
