Cooking Guide for DS revealed

Nintendo’s latest unique idea is stuffing a cookbook into a Nintendo DS cartridge. It will probably work, but just to make sure that it does, Hamish Blake has been brought on board to make a fool of himself.
Hamish Blake, most famous for his Hamish and Andy radio show on 2Day and his spot on the Rove: Live show on Network 10 will front the advertising campaigns for Cooking Guide. It’s not the first time Nintendo have called on Celebs to sell their products. Kieran Perkins and Michael Klim have both gone into bat for Nintendo previously.
Cooking Guide is a virtual cookbook for your Nintendo DS. You will be able to whip up a number of different recipes straight from your DS with all the instructions and handy tips shouted out to you by your virtual chef. With Blake’s well publicised lack of coordination skills (at least in front of the camera and microphone anyway), he’s the perfect candidate for the advertising campaign.
Will gadget zone being running down to the store to pick up Cooking Guide? Well, that would require us to have DS first, but even if we did, we would probably rather cane around a track in Mario Kart DS while our girlfriends made our dinner. Surprisingly enough, very few of the gadget zone staff have girlfriends at the moment.
