Canon EOS 50D officially announced

Canon Australia today announced the EOS 50D DSLR, it's latest offering in the DSLR market which it dominates with Nikon. The 15.1MP with HDMI output promises to be one of the best DSLRs ever.



It’s finally here. Photography buffs and tech nerds alike will be drooling over this one. So without further ado, this is what Canon’s latest DSLR, the EOS 50D, will offer you. The 50D has a 15.1MP CMOS sensor with the new DiG!C 4 image processor on board. It also includes increased ISO of up to 12,800 and is capable of 6.3 frames per second and continuous shooting of up to 60 shots in a single burst.

The EOS 50D also boasts features that will make amateur photographers look like professionals. You’ll find Auto Creative mode and Live Face Detection AF mode that will help turn an average shot into something that looks almost like a Leibovitz. To make sure you know when you have a good shot or not, a 3-inch LCD screen capable of 920,000 dots is included.
