4th-gen iPod nano images leaked

According to the latest images, the rumours of the iPod nano going back to it’s original longer shape with a wide screen meant to be used on it’s side are true.
Digg founder Kevin Rose has posted pictures of the supposed new generation iPod nano, confirming that it will return to its old design just with a longer screen. The 4th-generation iPod nano will also again incorporate a wrap-around aluminium body but this time it will be in a curvier shape. The click wheel will remain but will be a dark grey colour rather than the original white.
Rose also states that the changes will be launched in two to three weeks time along with a few cosmetic changes to the iPod touch as well. To make sure that iPod sales continue to move, a price drop is likely to make sure that the value the US$199 iPhone 3G represents doesn’t detract from iPod sales.
When the new iPods are released iTunes 8 will likely be launched as well. For Rose’s complete revelations check out the YouTube video he posted.
